Principals

Alex Peselman is co-founder and Principal of Mission Capital Group with over 25 years of real estate experience. Mr Peselman started his career in the technology and telecommunications industry. After exiting two technology companies he started his real estate career converting a 50+ unit building in Cambridge, MA into condominiums. Mr Peselman has transacted over $150MM of real estate and has a high degree of experience in the full life cycle of real estate development from acquisition, financing, permitting, and working with communities through disposition. 

In 2010 his focus changed from developing and marketing condominiums to establishing a portfolio of independent off campus student housing. He and partner Mark Lepler have been growing their holdings into a substantial group of residential properties since 2010. That is where their focus as a company remains today.

Outside of real estate Mr Peselman is a board member of an international agricultural holding and an Angel Investor. He is a long time rider and supporter of the Pan Mass Challenge, sits on the scholarship committee for CJP and is an active participant of JF&CS. 

Alexander Peselman was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts school of Management and received an MBA from Babson College, F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.

Mark Lepler is co-founder and Principal of Mission Capital Group with over 27 years in the real estate business. Mark Lepler has achieved success developing in excess of 700 units. During this time, he and his partners developed successful marketing strategies in the disposition of over 400 third-party units, by providing some of the highest quality and appropriately priced units in Boston’s exclusive Back Bay. Mark and his affiliates developed a reputation of extreme care and attention to market and consumer detail.

In 2010 his focus changed from developing and marketing condominiums to establishing a portfolio of independent off campus student housing. He and partner Alex Peselman have been growing their holdings into a substantial group of residential properties since 2010. That is where their focus as a company remains today.

Mark received a BA from Clark University. He attended Berklee College of Music for graduate work in songwriting, production and performance.
